First Post and Introduction

This blog was started as a better, more accessible way of documenting my bicycle travels from the past few years and going forward. I started out a few years ago doing large, supported group camping tours but lately have been booking smaller “catered” tours with much nicer accommodations, i.e., air conditioning, a bed, and indoor plumbing!

I hope that this blog will be enjoyed by the people who have been on these tours with me, as well as those who are considering them and want to get a better idea of what they’re all about. I will also be adding some pages regarding my bikes and equipment: what I’ve found that works and doesn’t work for me.
